A US mum has been arrested after allegedly putting her toddler sons in the oven, cooking them alive and then sending their father footage of the aftermath.

AN ATLANTA mom is accused of killing her one-year-old and two-year-old sons by cooking them alive in an oven — and then sending their father footage of the grisly aftermath.

Investigators say Lamora Williams crammed the boys — Ke’Younte Penn, two, and Ja’Karter Williams, one — in the oven some time between midnight on Thursday and 11pm on Friday, the Atlanta Journal Constitution reported.

The New York Post reports a warrant for her arrest claims the 24-year-old single mother of four killed the youngsters “by placing them in an oven and turning it on,” the paper reported.

Williams called the boys’ father, Jameel Penn, on Friday night to show him live video of the crime scene — including the children lying burned on the floor — which prompted him to call 911.

“After I seen what I seen, you know I called the police,” Mr Penn reportedly said.

“I ain’t got no soul no more,” the grieving dad said during a Saturday vigil, according to the Journal Constitution. “Ja’karter, Keyante, my world, my everything. I’m lost.”

Williams was arrested on felony murder charges on Saturday and was ordered held without bond in Fulton County jail.

She told police that she left the kids in a sitter’s care and found the kids dead when she came home late Friday.

Relatives told the Constitution Journal that Williams suffered from an undiagnosed mental disorder.

A three-year-old child was in the apartment unharmed when police arrived on Friday.

Williams’ eldest child, a six-year-old girl, was safe with family and not home on Friday night, police said.

Williams’ longtime friend, Neesa Smith, said Williams quit a job about a month ago because she couldn’t find a babysitter for the kids.

“Nobody could tell what she was going through,” Ms Smith said.

Smith said Williams called her first on Friday night and said she “couldn’t do it anymore.”

When her longtime friend pressed for more details, Williams allegedly said the boys were dead. Smith told her to call the police, but she called Mr Penn via video instead.

Williams did not show up to her first court appearance on Monday.
