In 2012, Alana Thompson first won everyone’s hearts in the TLC reality show, which shed light on the lives of kids that enter pageants.
One of the most iconic scenes showed Alana drinking “go-go juice” before a competition.
The concoction, made up of Mountain Dew and Red Bull, was given to the six-year-old by her mum June to get her competition ready.
Alana’s sassy personality went down such a treat with viewers that she then went on to star in her own program, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.
In the spin off, a camera crew filmed what Alana and her family get up to outside the world of beauty pageants.
In 2014, after four series’ and 26 episodes, the show was axed by TLC.
For the past two years, since her program was axed, Honey Boo Boo has remained out of the spotlight.
Last year, Alana made a rare appearance in the public eye when she went to the premier of Marriage Boot Camp.
Adorable Alana looked completely different from her glitzy pageant days, as she opted for a simple black and white dress.
Her signature curls were also nowhere to be seen, as she paired a sleek blow-dry with some pretty make-up.
The former-pageant participant attended the event to support her parents, Mama June Shannon and her estranged hubby Mike ‘Sugar Bear’ Thompson.
During the show, the pair bickered as Mama June accused Mike of having explicit photos of men on his phone.
As well as her brief public appearance on the red carpet, Alana featured on US TV series The Doctors.
On the program, doctors had a health intervention to help the Toddlers & Tiaras star get in better shape.
Earlier this year, Alana was interviewed by Oprah as a part of her Where are They Now series.
During the show, the pageant queen revealed that she was happy to be out of the spotlight when Here Comes Honey Boo Boo was axed.
In order to keep her fans up to date, Alana regularly posts photos and updates onto herofficial Facebook page, where she has over one million followers.
