The Senegalese government calls for an "independent international investigation" at the Confederation of African Football after it stripped Senegal of the Africa Cup of Nations title.

Morocco have been declared the winners of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations after the Confederation of African Football (Caf) overturned the result of the final following Senegal's controversial walk-off.

Morocco's Foreign Ministry announced on Monday, January 19, that King Mohammed VI would ratify the charter of the organization created to support the peace plan for Gaza. The North African country is also expected to contribute to the stabilization force in the Palestinian enclave.
