2 year oldHolmes, 45, filed the paperwork Wednesday in New York City after 12 years of marriage, Page Six confirms.
Holmes and Fiebig, also 45, tied the knot in March 2010 and welcomed daughter Sabine in January 2013.
Reps for the pair have not yet responded to our requests for comment.
An insider previously told us that Fiebig, an immigration lawyer, was “blindsided” by her husband’s alleged affair with his on-air colleague.
Our source said the two had been separated for several months but that they were trying to “work things out” when news of the alleged workplace romance broke in late November.
“She’s devastated. She had no idea,” our informant said, adding that the two “were just together for T.J.’s birthday [on August 19].”
Amid ABC’s investigation into the nature of Holmes and Robach’s relationship, more has come to light about his alleged relations with at least two other staffers at the job, including married producer Natasha Singh.
In March 2020, Holmes posted a cringe-worthy 10th anniversary tribute to Fiebig in which he admitted that he had given her “plenty of reasons” to leave him throughout their marriage.
“10 years ago, Marilee Fiebig married me,” the former CNN anchor captioned throwback wedding photos at the time. “And despite my best efforts, she remained married to me the past 10 years.”
“That’s not hyperbole. I’m not being dramatic,” he continued. “I gave her plenty of reasons, excuses, and opportunities to walk her fine ass out the doooooooor.”
He went on to praise the lawyer’s “built-in black woman superpower” in showing him “grace and patience that’s incomprehensible.”
Holmes added that “asking her for another 10 years would be asking too much,” calling 10 months “a stretch” and 10 weeks “lucky.”
He also referred to himself as Fiebig’s “decade challenge,” concluding, “If she puts up with me another 10 days, I’d be grateful.”
Holmes and Robach’s friendship allegedly turned romantic after they began training together for the NYC Half Marathon in March.
At the time, Robach, 49, was married to Andrew Shue; however their divorce is nearly finalised, and a friend previously told us that the former Melrose Place star “moved out earlier this summer.”
Even though their professional careers are hanging in the balance while ABC continues its investigation, the co-anchors have been spotted out together a handful of times, including at the airport the day after Christmas.
