The trials and tribulations of Nick Young’s relationship with Iggy Azalea have been well-documented. From their engagement, to the cheating exposed by Young’s teammate D’Angelo Russell, to their attempted reconciliation and eventual split — it’s all been pretty public.

That’s why it shouldn’t be all that surprising that the Lakers guard isn’t hiding from cameras in his post-breakup with the pop star. TMZ caught Young outside a West Hollywood club this week and approached him with cameras rolling. When they asked him what happened to the $500,000 engagement ring he gave to Iggy, he was all smiles and gave a pretty humorous response.

 

“What’d I do with the ring? I lost it. I need some insurance money.”

Looks like Swaggy P is still same ol’ Swaggy P.

Though he’s clearly comfortable enough to joke about the breakup now, it’s no secret that Young wasn’t too happy with Russell for creating problems in his personal life and, in turn, his professional life. He may not even be quite over that anger yet, but it doesn’t look like he’s all that distraught about being single again, at least not in the public eye.

No word yet on whether or not Iggy thought Nick’s joke was funny.
