5 year oldIggy Azalea is finally opening up about the mental health retreat that got her back on her feet.
Last year, the “Sally Walker” rapper revealed that her management team staged an intervention and suggested she seek professional help so she could jump back into her music career better than ever.
Her breakthrough came when she realised that she had to stop trying to defend herself against every critic that challenged her.
“You want to be right so bad because you feel like you’re justified, your emotions are so real,” she said.
“It’s hard to say, ‘Okay, I handled that in a bad way.’”
But now her Twitter war days are over.
Fresh off dropping her second studio album, In my Defence, Iggy has moved from LA to Atlanta to live with her boyfriend Playboi Carti.
While she doesn’t have plans to tie the knot with the rapper, she plans to have a future with Playboi and hopes to one day be a mum.
