6 year oldTAYLOR Swift has been accused of “ripping off” a Kenzo advert in the video for her new single Delicate.
The pop star premiered the clip at the iHeartRadio Music Awards this week, but many are convinced they have seen it all before, The Sun reports.
After scooping the gong for Female of the Year at the awards show, Taylor, 28, thanked in a pre-recorded acceptance speech and played her new video.
The clip shows Taylor wearing a 1920-style blue dress pulling off some wild dance moves all around a hotel.
She is seen pulling a number of funny faces in the video and dancing in the street before taking over the hotel lobby.
However, many fans have pointed out similarities to a 2016 Kenzo World advert shot by Hollywood director Spike Jonze starring The Leftovers actress Margaret Qualley.
Taylor’s video starts off with the singer doing interviews on a red carpet and taking selfies with fans at an event while being flanked by security guards.
The singer is secretly handed what turns out to be a magical note which suddenly makes her become invisible.
She celebrates by throwing off her shoes and dancing to her heart’s content — including doing the splits in the rain and dancing atop an underground carriage.
But at the end of the video, the paper disintegrates and she can be seen again.
The Kenzo ad shows Margaret getting bored at a glitzy dinner before walking out and have a solo dance off while she’s alone.
She was filmed dancing around Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles before hitting the street outside and jumping through a wall of flowers.
Fans were amazed by the similarities between the two clips and flocked to twitter to make comparisons.
One wrote: “Do you think taylor swift saw the KENZO World ad and just told her producer “I want a less cool version of that?”
Another added: “From the very first moment of taylor swift’s delicate music video where she looks sad surrounded by ppl I was like...
“’THATS SOO KENZO WORLD COMMERCIAL’ so when she started dancing i literally couldn’t believe it.”
A third tweeted: “#DelicateMusicVideo from @taylorswift13 looks awfully similar to the @kenzo video featuring @margaretqrus. Just saying.”
A Kenzo rep even playfully posted, “Listen Tay, I feel you. It’s hard to stay fresh. Call us, we can help.”
