R. Kelly has been charged with a sexual crime against an underage girl in Minneapolis in 2001, according to a press conference just held in the city.

The charges are part of multiple allegations of sexual misconduct against the singer that have been filed this year.

The disgraced singer pleaded not guilty on a 13-count indictment in U.S. District Court that same day.

The R&B singer had been charged on nearly two dozen other counts related to sexual abuse and assault earlier this year.

Kelly is due back in court later this month on all four separate indictments.

The rapper was previously charged in February with aggravated sexual abuse involving four victims, including at least three between the ages of 13 and 17.

Is that good for Kelly or bad for Kelly? "It's not bad for him," says Greenberg. "It means prosecutors file weak cases. And we have four weak cases (against Kelly)."
