iShowSpeed sat down with Speedy Norman at ComplexCon over the weekend.
iShowSpeed says he plans to run the 100 meter race in the 2028 Summer Olympics.
"2028, I'll be running in the Olympics for sure," he said at ComplexCon over the weekend.
When asked which race he planned on running, iShowSpeed suggested he'd run the "100m and 50m, and maybe 20m." After being informed that only the 100m exists, he replied, "You know what I mean, well 100m then."
iShowSpeed recently made headlines for attempting to outrun Noah Lyles in a 50m race for $100,000. Lyles is considered the fastest man on Earth after winning the 100-meter dash at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
While Speed lost to Lyles, the streamer made an impressive effort in the close race and later claimed it ended in a tie. "My name is Speed for a reason," he said.
When asked about how the race with the Olympian was planned, Speed claimed that he "could have beat Noah," but had a rocky start.
"Noah was doing...he had 30 minutes to exercise and warm up, and he had his own spikes, and he had his own gear," he said at ComplexCon. Like, he had the right gear and I drove three hours."
After explaining how he was able to jump over a speeding Lamborghini and McLaren (which happened after some test runs), the self-proclaimed "world's fastest man" predicted that footballer Tyreek Hill was "ducking the smoke" in a race with him.
"He said if you ask him to race, right, he will say yes, probably," Speed told Speedy Morman. "But since he knows I'm fast and since he knows there's a chance of him losing and he doesn't want to be seen on losing to a YouTube streamer."
