Louvre installs metal bars over infamous gallery window after $102M jewel heist
The Louvre Museum has installed a large metal grille over the windows of the gallery from which thieves stole jewellery worth an estimated $102 million. The bars are the latest measure put in place in recent month as the security standards at the world's most visited museum are facing intense scrutiny following the October heist.
