1 year oldKeke Palmer’s ex-boyfriend and father of her child, Darius Jackson, has filed for a restraining order against her, accusing the actress of domestic violence.
The move comes just one month after Palmer filed a restraining order of her own, accusing Jackson of the same behavior.
The couple is currently navigating a nasty breakup, and Jackson is now claiming that Palmer was physically and verbally abusive to him for years, according to court documents obtained by TMZ Thursday.
Jackson says the 30-year-old “Nope” star would often become overly aggressive after consuming alcohol, and shared three separate instances in which that aggressive behavior turned physically violent, the outlet reports.
One altercation at a birthday party in 2021 allegedly led to Palmer punching him in the face after drinking, while another from January 2022 left Jackson visibly bruised, according to documents.
In February 2022, another fight occurred in which Palmer drunkenly hit and choked him, Jackson claimed.
The couple’s messy split has seen more and more concerning details come to light in recent weeks.
In the wake of Palmer’s own restraining order, filed on Nov. 10, text messages were leaked showing heated conversations with other members of the family.
Palmer’s mother, Sharon, allegedly threatened to “put a bullet” into Jackson’s head, fearing for her daughter’s safety. Following that incident, Sharon received messages from Jackson’s mother.
“I have tried not to get involve in my son’s personal business,” read a text from Jackson’s mother. “But I heard that you are going to put a bullet in my son’s head??? Well, then now we have to involve the authorities.”
Keke Palmer initially filed her own restraining order last month in an attempt to gain full custody of her and Jackson’s 9-month-old son, Leo.
She included screenshots of security footage that showed one one of “many instances” in which Jackson allegedly physically abused her, “lunging for my neck, striking me, throwing me over the couch, and stealing my phone,” Palmer wrote.
The temporary restraining order against Jackson was granted, although he has denied the allegations of abuse.
