Diddy was found guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution, but not guilty of sex trafficking and racketeering.

Diddy has been denied bail after Judge Arun Subramanian came to a decision on his bond release, NBC News reports.

On Wednesday, Judge Subramnian ruled that Diddy will not be released after he was found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, but not guilty of sex trafficking and racketeering.

According to the judge, the incident in which Diddy was seen physically assaulting Cassie played a role in the denial.

The ruling comes after Diddy's lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, asked Judge Subramnian to release Diddy on a $1 million bond, allowing him to reside at Two Star Island in Miami and travel to Florida, New York, and Los Angeles while awaiting sentencing. The government was adamant in having Diddy remain in prison as they claimed he's a flight risk and there are concerns with his drug use and acts of violence.

On Wednesday afternoon, Inner City Press tweeted Diddy's lawyers' 6 page letter in which they ask the judge to release their client on bail.

Diddy faces up to 20 years in prison despite not being found guilty of the more serious sex trafficking and racketeering charges. According to Complex's Shawn Setaro, Diddy's family applauded the verdict, while the mogul appeared to mouth "Thank you" to the jurors and made a prayer sign with his hands.

Cassie's lawyer, Douglas H. Wigdor, released a statement in response to Wednesday's verdict, claiming that Diddy's case is a sign that "change is long overdue, and we will continue to fight on behalf of survivors."
