If you ever needed proof that men don’t have to try as hard as women, then I give you the photos of Justin Bieber and his wife, Hailey Bieber, out to lunch.

She’s turned up looking incredible in a skin-tight red dress, and he looks like he has just rolled out of bed and maybe isn’t fully conscious yet.

She’s wearing heels, and he is wearing Crocs.

The man has a wife that hot and he can’t even be bothered to pop on some proper footwear.
 

The photos of the pair together having lunch are alarming.

She’s slicked back her hair, and he’s wearing a hat over his hoodie.

Why is he wearing two head coverings? It will remain one of the great mysteries in life. At this point we have more hope of finally locating Melissa Caddick than understanding Justin’s fashion choices.

Hailey looks like she’s about to step onto a runway and Justin is dressed like he is about to have run away from police after being caught scrawling graffiti on public property.

She’s looking magnificent, and he is wearing the outfit most of us reserve for when we have Covid and aren’t leaving the house.

The difference is comical, incredible, laughable and meme-worthy.
 

The idea that they are both dressed for the exact same outing is almost beyond comprehension. I am straight-up bamboozled by how this happened.

Of course, I have some theories.

Did she suggest they grab lunch and he thought she meant lets meet up at a 7/11 and spend $2 on a slushie?

Did he say he wanted to get lunch and was then disappointed Hailey booked a swanky restaurant and didn’t just want to meet at a food court?

Or worse, does Justin just think this is his look now? And Hailey has to suffer through this phase?

Hailey’s out and about looking like a model, and Justin is dressed like those youths you always see on A Current Affair who commit petty crimes.
 

I know Bieber has popstar privilege. We have to give the man some special dispensation purely for giving us the pop banger that is ‘Sorry.’

Meanwhile, his wife is looking her absolute best and, probably because, on some level, she feels pressure to look hot and sexy to maintain relevancy and build her brand.

Yes, it’s bloody funny when you see the two pictured together. They look utterly mismatched, but the reality is pretty grim.
