The Work singer, 31, claims she “doesn’t go out” and instead, clocks long hours at the office and takes the party there.
“In the beginning, it (partying) was just my culture, my life. And now, the party, believe it or not, is at work,” Rihanna told the New York Times’ style magazine, T.
Rihanna has built a business empire including her Savage X Fenty lingerie line, Fenty Beauty makeup collection, Fenty luxury label, Puma collaboration, as well working on her upcoming album.
“I do not go out. I will go to a dinner,” Rihanna saidm according to the New York Times. “I try to have as much fun as I can during work.”
“And even after work, when I’m literally in my kitchen having a drink, I invite all my staff. And we work, still.”
Rihanna confirmed her hugely anticipated new reggae-inspired album, dubbed “R9”, will be released soon though she has not confirmed a date.
One detail she did reveal was that her ex-boyfriend and Work collaborator Drake would not be on it. There’s no Drake collaboration on the cards “anytime soon, I don’t see it happening. Not on this album, that’s for sure,” she said.
Rihanna also revealed new details about her upcoming LVMH-backed luxury fashion line, Fenty, saying it would be size-inclusive (made up to a US size 14) and priced from $US200 to $US1500.
“I’m thick and curvy right now, and so if I can’t wear my own stuff then, I mean, that’s not gonna work, right?,” Rihanna told the New York Times.

“I’ve been slowly evolving throughout the fashion world,” Rihanna said.
“First wearing it, buying it, being recognised for my style and then collaborating with brands. “I never just wanted to put my name on something and sell my license.
“I’m very hands-on, so I wanted to take it slowly and gain respect as a designer.”
Rihanna’s first Fenty collection will be unveiled on May 29 via fenty.com (a pop up store will be open in Paris from May 24) and was heavily inspired by her own signature style.
A teaser video for the brand featured models wearing oversized suits, denim mini skirts, T-shirt dresses, corsets and power blazers, in white, dark blue denim and camel tones.
“I love a corset. We put a corset in a suit, a dress, a shirt, a denim jacket, and a T-shirt dress,” Rihanna said, according to T magazine.
“I use myself as the muse. It’s sweatpants with pearls, or a masculine denim jacket with a corset.”
