Justin Bieber follows through with threat and deletes Instagram

The 22-year-old erased his account on Tuesday afternoon after fans continued to post abuse about his rumoured new girlfriend Sofia Richie.

“I’m gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don’t stop the hate, this is getting out of hand, if you guys are really fans you wouldn’t be so mean to people that I like,” he threatened fans earlier this week.

And then he appeared to follow though. His Instagram page now displays the message: “Sorry, this page isn’t available.”

Fans are now greeted with an “unavailable” message on Bieber’s Instagram account.Source:Instagram

As expected, fans were devastated.

Bieber’s threat to fans also ignited an online row with his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez this week.

Gomez, who dated the singer from 2011 to 2014, blasted him, writing: ““If you can’t handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend”.
