Justin Bieber defends himself after being accused of lip-syncing at Coachella

Justin Bieber is slamming E! host and former reality star Morgan Stewart for negative comments she made about his Coachella performance with Ariana Grande, where he appeared to lip-sync. 

The "Sorry" singer took to Twitter Wednesday to post a series of tweets calling out the "Nightly Pop" host for saying she "did not realize (the performance) was going to be that bad" during a segment Tuesday.

"@Morgan_Stewart just saw a video of you ripping me to shreds saying I was lip-syncing. They played the song and i just sang overtop of it.. regardless why spend your time tearing people down," he said. "It’s People like you that are bullies at school that are making kids suicidal."

He continued, "@Morgan_Stewart imagine if you spent even half the time you spend laughing at other peoples expense actually building people up and encouraging people how much positivity you could bring. What hurts about this is the fact that you have a platform to make a difference"

He also shared his perspective on performing after being out of the spotlight for years.

"And rather than being positive you belittle people. Think about how awesome it felt for me to be on that stage after being away for so long the excitement and joy it gave me doing the thing i love the most, i sang to to backtrack like most cameos do this is a normal thing," he wrote.

Grande also appeared to comment on the situation Wednesday.

The former "Rich Kids of Beverly Hills" star has not responded on Twitter.

Bieber made waves when he surprised the crowd at Coachella. 

Grande told attendees she didn’t intend to have any special guests during the second weekend of the festival, but that she cooked something up with a friend at the last second.
