Graham Norton confronts Rihanna about her most infamous habit mid-interview

BRITISH talk show host Graham Norton has staged an intervention of sorts with pop star Rihanna regarding perhaps her most infamous — and frequently-photographed — habit.

For years now, the Rude Boy singer has appeared in paparazzi pictures carrying a wine glass in places you wouldn’t expect — namely, exiting bars, restaurants and clubs on nights out.

It seems the normal rules don’t apply to Rihanna — if you want to bail on a night out but you’re still working on a drink, you can just walk on out and take it with you:

In some photos she’s not even snapped leaving a party — instead, just going about her daily business with a shiraz or a riesling in-hand.

The is obviously amazing pop diva behaviour — and yet, Ri-Ri came over all uncharacteristically shy when Norton called her on it.

The talk show host flashed photos of Rihanna’s wine-fuelled escapades on the screen, much to the delight of the fellow Ocean’s Eight cast members she was being interviewed alongside.

“Did you ask permission from the club when you left holding this glass?” he asked regarding one photo.

“That might have been one I took to the club,” she said.

“I took that back to the hotel that I took it from,” she insisted when confronted with another photo.

And then another photo — and another, and another, until the audience and fellow guests were howling with laughter and Rihanna was left squirming on the sofa.

“My mum is gonna see this!” she protested.
