6 year oldDAVID Beckham has returned to social media after a day of rumours he is set to divorce wife Victoria.
The former football star, 43, popped up online to promote his House 99 skin care brand hours after the couple’s spokesman deemed split rumours “nonsense”, The Sun reports.
The ex-England skipper also offered his condolences following the death of celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain.
Victoria Beckham also took to social media to share pictures of herself at dinner with her parents and her kids.
Thousands of Twitter and Facebook users shared claims a divorce was imminent between the power couple — with the rumours even becoming one of the internet’s most discussed “trending topics”.
But as Victoria posted a gushing message to her husband saying she “loves and misses” him, representatives said the unfounded gossip was “bizarre” and “fake”.
The former Spice Girl wrote next to the snap on Instagram: “Morning cuddles x So much love. We love and miss u @davidbeckham.”
A spokeswoman for the couple said: “There is no statement due, no divorce, and a lot of Chinese whispers and fake social media news.
“This is all very bizarre and an embarrassing waste of time.”
Another of the couple’s representatives weighed in, adding: “It’s a crock of s**t.”
It comes after bookmakers released a statement announcing they had suspended betting on the couple splitting, fuelling the speculation even further.
A spokesman from Paddy Power said: “We’ve decided to suspend betting on the separation between Posh and Becks.”
The pair met at a charity football match at Old Trafford in Manchester in 1997 and just a year later the couple were engaged after David got down on one knee to pop the question at a dinner.
Later in 1998, Posh announced she was pregnant with their first child and Brooklyn was born in March 1999.
On July 4 1999 — exactly four months after Brooklyn’s birth — the pair were married at Luttrellstown Castle, Castleknock in the Republic of Ireland.
Their second son, Romeo, was born in September 2002.
In 2003, Posh and the family moved with David to Spain following his transfer from Manchester United to Real Madrid.
They had their third son, Cruz, two years later.
Brand Beckham moved to the United States in 2007 following his transfer to Los Angeles Galaxy.
In July 2011, David and Victoria’s first daughter and last child Harper Seven was born.
