Cardi’s no stranger to turning heads with her sexy style, with her Instagram page a treasure trove of wacky barely-there looks often dripping with jewels and designer labels.
But her penchant for one-of-a-kind designer pieces hasn’t always sat well with fans.
Back in December last year, the star became the centre of a social media pile-on after bragging about wanting to spend an insane $US 88,000 ($AU 115,472) on a handbag.
“Should I spend 88K for this damn purse? Omggg it’s tempting,” she tweeted.
The question sparked instant uproar about her spending, with many fans urging her to instead put the money toward charity.
