Caitlyn Jenner has revealed she hasn’t spoken to stepdaughter Khloe Kardashian in the five years since she transitioned.

The 70-year-old star spoke to her campmates on the UK’s I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here! about coming out as transgender in 2014.

And while the majority of her famous family were supportive, Caitlyn said Khloe was “p***ed off” throughout her transition, adding she wasn’t sure what her “issues” were.

But fans of Khloe have quickly jumped to the reality star’s defence, slamming Caitlyn for making her look “transphobic”, pointing out Khloe was solely upset about how her mum, Kris Jenner, was treated by Caitlyn in the aftermath of their divorce.

When asked who she told first about her transition, Caitlyn shared: “The first was the kids, I started with Brandon my son and he said to me: ‘Dad, I’ve always been so proud to be your son but I’ve never been more proud of you than right now.’

“I went through every kid and Khloe for some reason was p***ed off about something through this whole process, it’s been five or six years and I really haven’t talked to her since.

“We were really close, I raised her since she was five years old, I really don’t know what her issues are.”

Caitlyn married Kris in 1991, acting as step-parent to Khloe, Kim, Kourtney, and Rob Kardashian for over 20 years.
 

Caitlyn and Kris split in 2014, one year before she publicly came out as transgender.

Khloe has always maintained Caitlyn’s 2017 memoir The Secrets Of My Life, was the beginning of their rift, as it painted Kris in a negative light.

The book alleged Kris knew her husband was transgender when they were still together.

Kris has always denied this, saying there were many “lies” in the book.

Khloe accused Caitlyn of “publicly shaming” the family and taking aim at her mum.

Despite the rocky relationship with Khloe, Caitlyn also told her fellow campmates that she was “sad” to be missing Thanksgiving with her family today.

She said: “I know today that both sides of my family, the Kardashian-Jenner side, and the strictly Jenners side are all having their appropriate Thanksgiving dinners.

“Normally on this day I run from one to the other back and forth and it’s probably the first time I haven’t been there.

“It’s sad not to be there.”

Last night, Caitlyn’s 24-year-old daughter Kendall finally broke her silence on her dad’s jungle stint following fan backlash.

The model shared a sweet message of support to her Instagram Story, telling fans that she was “always” rooting for Caitlyn.
