“The postpartum depression I have been experiencing has impacted every aspect of my life,” she shared. “Rather than stay stuck due to unhealthy coping mechanisms I have chosen to take time to reflect holistically on my health and life. Wish me luck!”

According to sources, the actress is seeking treatment in Utah.

Panettiere, 26, has been vocal about suffering f-rom postpartum depression ever since the birth of her daughter, Kaya, whom she welcomed with fiancé Wladimir Klitschko in December 2014.

“Hayden Panettiere is voluntarily seeking professional help at a treatment center as she is currently battling postpartum depression,” her rep told Us last October. “She asks that the media respect her privacy during this time.”

During an appearance on Live With Kelly and Michael in September 2015, the actress opened up about relating to women who suffer f-rom postpartum.

“I can very much relate. It’s something a lot of women experience. When [you’re told] about postpartum depression you think it’s ‘I feel negative feelings towards my child, I want to injure or hurt my child.’ I’ve never, ever had those feelings,” she explained. “Some women do. But you don’t realize how broad of a spectrum you can really experience that on. It’s something that needs to be talked about. Women need to know that they’re not alone, and that it does heal.”
