Mali and Burkina Faso announced restrictions on visitors from the US in response to Washington imposing travel curbs on their citizens.
“Invoking the principle of reciprocity, Burkina Faso will immediately apply to US citizens the same entry conditions imposed on its citizens,” Burkinabé Foreign Minister Karamako Jean-Marie Traoré said on Tuesday. A statement from Mali’s foreign ministry outlined a similar directive.
