A Kentucky doctor who was dragged off a United flight after he refused to give up his seat to crew members has reached a settlement with the airline for undisclosed amount.
JetBlue (JBLU) founder and former CEO David Neeleman said today that in order to prevent mishaps like the one that happened with United Continental (UAL) is to give employees power to increase monetary incentives to get people to give up their seats.
Passengers said the man claimed he was a doctor who had patients to see in the morning, refusing to deplane when asked to volunteer to give up his seat on the flight from Chicago to Louisville.
