Comcast, the US media conglomerate, has submitted another offer to buy parts of 21st Century Fox, after getting rebuffed last year in favour of Disney.

Twenty-First Century Fox has appointed Jack Abernethy and Bill Shine as co-presidents of Fox News, replacing Roger Ailes who stepped down last month after a sexual harassment scandal.

Fox News chief Roger Ailes has resigned from the network following sexual harassment allegations, 21st Century Fox confirmed Thursday.

She was let go, Ailes said, due to the low ratings of her show, The Real Story with Gretchen Carlson.
