Cambridge Analytica, the political consultancy at the centre of the Facebook data-sharing scandal, is shutting down.

The personal information of 87 million Facebook users may have been improperly shared with data analytics firm Cambridge Analytica, the social media giant has said, as it rolled out a set of new security measures.

The company has been accused of using its methods during the US presidential election and the Brexit campaign.
