5 year oldFrom the moment LeBron James went down with a midseason groin injury, the Los Angeles Lakers' 2018-19 campaign was sent into turmoil.
The Lakers dropped from the West's No. 4 seed to out of the playoffs, all while trade rumors and apparent Anthony Davis tampering tore the locker room apart.
Magic Johnson's abrupt resignation, Luke Walton's departure and all the Lakers' infighting hasn't made matters look any better. On Wednesday, ESPN's First Take suggested that the Lakers had a lot of work to do to repair a strained relationship with James.
The report was so off base in James' eyes that he took to Instagram and issued his response … in real time.
"THAT. IS. NOT. TRUEEEEE!" James said as he recorded a TV showing the First Take broadcast.
"It's not true at all. I'm actually at the Lakers' (training) facility right now," said James as he turned the camera to himself in the gym.
There you have it.
James is missing his first playoffs since 2005, so that gives him plenty of time to do things like yell at ESPN's programming.
At least he's hitting the gym, though.
