Multiple people have been injured and three killed during a horror mass shooting at a popular New York City restaurant.

Three people have been killed and eight others wounded inside a New York City restaurant as police frantically hunt for the gunman, who remains at large.

Police officers responded to calls of a person opening fire inside Taste of the City Lounge in Brooklyn at 3:30am according to the New York Post

Those killed were identified as three men, who were 27, 35, and an unknown age.

Multiple individuals were taken to local hospitals in the area.

Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered several people suffering from gunshot wounds inside the location.

The suspect is yet to be found and the NYPD do not yet have a description of them.

At least 36 shell casings were recovered.

“We have the lowest number of shooting incidents and shooting victims seven months into the year we’ve seen on record in the city of New York,” NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch said.

“Something like this is, of course, thank god, an anomaly and it’s a terrible thing that’s happened this morning.”

The shocking news come after a teenage suspect was arrested after three people were also wounded in an unrelated Times Square shooting earlier this week.

Police have not yet confirm if there were any casualties or the exact number of people wounded in the shooting.

NYPD personnel stood inside the business near a pool of blood and broken glass, according to video posted on X.
