BREKKIE WRAP: Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie send prop through TSA screening

HAVE glacial delays at airports finally taken their toll on one poor soul?

The New York Post reports that the frightful corpse was just a movie prop — believed to be f-rom Leatherface, the latest incarnation of the classic series The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

A Transportation Security Administration spokesman f-rom Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport on Sunday called the dearly departed “possibly the strangest thing” she had ever seen at a checkpoint.

The beleaguered agency took the opportunity to inject some levity amid reports of thousands of travellers stranded at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport due to checkpoint delays.

Posting the macabre image on its Instagram account, TSA said: “Talk about deadheading … This crusty ol’ chap is actually a prop f-rom the #TexasChainsawMassacre movie.

“He was brought through a checkpoint at the Atlanta International Airport, whe-re as you can see, he was screened and sent on his jolly way.”

The dummy wasn’t flying in the overhead compartment, either. He apparently held a ticket for a seat — though it was unclear if he was offered a snack.
