Surprising detail in new photos of slimmed-down Adele

Singing superstar Adele was photographed holidaying with friends including Harry Styles on a beach in Anguilla over the weekend.

The photos made world headlines earlier this week as they gave another look at Adele’s dramatic recent slim down. She had first debuted her noticeable weight loss at Drake’s birthday party in October last year, just weeks after she filed for divorce from husband Simon Konecki.

But new photos have today emerged from her getaway, revealing something most fans wouldn’t have realised about the star until now: She has a big ol’ back tattoo.
 

In fact, Adele has at least eight known tattoos, although most of them are much smaller and often visible in photos: a discrete letter “A” behind her ear, small dots and a coin on her wrist, the word “paradise” on her hand. But this large back tattoo is rarely glimpsed, covered up by Adele’s usual stage and music video gowns.
 

Adele also made headlines during her tropical beach holiday for an incredible act of generosity during a night out. 

Adele and Styles have been holidaying together in the Caribbean, island hopping between Anguilla and the Virgin Islands with James Corden and his family. Adele and Styles left one waiter a $A2900 tip – 400 per cent of their final bill — after enjoying a meal at a local restaurant.

Adele fans eager for new music – it’s now been more than four years since she released third album 25 – shouldn’t have to wait too much longer, with reports the singer is planning to release a long-awaited follow-up sometime this year.
