The couple have been dating since at least May 2023.
Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good have revealed that they're engaged.
The couple announced the news while on the red carpet for the EBONY Power 100 Gala in Los Angeles, with Good flashing her diamond ring to photographers. Good told E! News that the EBONY Power 100 Gala is where they first met. "EBONY Power 100 is the event that we met at in the bathrooms, in the unisex bathroom," she shared. Majors and Good started dating in May 2023, shortly after his arrest for an alleged domestic dispute with his ex, Grace Jabbari.
The Creed III and Lovecraft Country actor was found guilty of assaulting and harassing Jabbari last year, which prompted Marvel Studios to fire Majors from his then-ongoing MCU role, Kang the Conqueror and his variants. At the sentencing for third-degree assault and second-degree harassment, he was sentenced to 52 weeks of a domestic violence program, avoiding jail time.
Good has remained by Majors side throughout his legal issues, something he spoke about in an interview in January in which he compared her to Coretta Scott King. In an interview with People, Good said that she was "in love" with Majors and was "the happiest I've been in a long time." She was often present in court during his trial.
Good said that some friends have had some reservations about her relationship with the actor, citing concerns about the allegations against him. "I take everyone I love's opinion into account, but at the end of the day, I'm the one who has to have to live my life," she shared. "I want to be responsible for the choices I make and want to live the life that I want to live."
Majors recently confirmed his first role since his legal ordeal earlier this year will be the supernatural revenge thriller Merciless.
