“She got the guys who handle Lamar’s money to call me and they said the rent wouldn’t be paid, I gotta move and my phone was going to get cut off.”
The former NBA star had paid his disabled father’s $US4000 rent for 10 years when Kardashian kicked the Army vet and his wife, Cecelia, 59, to the curb last November.
“She disrespected me. She decided to kick me out of my home when Lamar was in hospital in Nevada,” he said.
The reality-television star had taken over Lamar Odom’s finances after a drug-and-sex binge in a Nevada brothel left him nearly dead in October.
“I just wish I could be at his side in LA to support him, but Khloé doesn’t want me there,” the broken-up father said.
The glum dad believes Kardashian is “smothering” Lamar and attempting to cut off their communication.
“Whenever I call him, she answers. She must be checking his texts, too. I can’t always get through to him anymore,” he said.
“She may be Lamar’s wife, but I’m his father. She shouldn’t have cut me out of his life like she has.”
Last week, Joe was finally able to get through to Lamar, who said he would “sort it out,” but nothing has changed, he says.
Kardashian chose to stick it out with her estranged hubby and call off their divorce after Lamar was found unresponsive and foaming at the mouth by hookers at the Love Ranch brothel.
The vet, who says he can’t work because he suffers f-rom PTSD and pneumonia, is now barely scraping by.
Joe Odom is particularly concerned about the 36-year-old former hoops star after he was spotted drinking with pals in LA.
“Drinking is a slippery slope to all kinds of vices, and I want Lamar to stay away f-rom it. It won’t help his recovery. I’m praying he makes it, of course,” he said.
Lamar is attending daily rehab at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in LA while he recovers f-rom severe kidney damage f-rom his three-day bender.
