Kylie Jenner has debuted a new haircut, and fans are convinced it makes her look like her actor boyfriend, Timothee Chalamet.
The reality television star chopped off her signature long locks and has gone for a haircut that isn’t unlike her iconic mum’s short and chic look.
Kylie, 26, posted a photo of her new pixie cut and joked that her mum, Kris Jenner, would be “quaking” when she saw the picture.
Kris, not to be outdone by one of her famous offspring, commented on the post that Kylie’s move certainly wasn’t leaving her trembling.
“You are not even the fart!” She joked.
Kylie’s caption seemed keen to bank on the fact that Kris is nothing short of being a pop culture icon, and fans would love that they were now matching.
Surprisingly, fans weren’t just interested in their funny banter or her grown-up haircut! Nope, they were concerned she now looked Timothee.
Timothee is known for his boyish looks and his mop of curly dark brown hair that he usually wears a little long.
t seems rude to say a man’s haircut is in the style of a bob, but if you were to describe his haircut; the word bob or mop could be used.
And now Kylie’s gone and done the same.
“She and Timothee really twinning now,” one fan claimed.
“She’s turning into Timothee!” Another joked.
“She’s looking more and more like Timothee,” one observed.
Another wrote her haircut was the perfect example of the “boyfriend effect” - the theory that women often dress or style themselves like their boyfriends.
We’ve seen this style phenomenon a bunch with famous people! Kylie’s sister, Kourtney Kardashian, suddenly started dressing like a rock chic after she began dating drummer Travis Barker.
Megan Fox and Machinegun Kelly now have identical styles, and let us remember Brad Pitt getting matching haircuts with Gwyneth Paltrow in the nineties.
It isn’t as uncommon as you might think!
Timothee, 28, has been dating Kylie for a couple of months, and the pair have been spotted packing on the PDA at multiple events, including the Tennis and The Golden Globes.
They are an unlikely celebrity pairing. She’s an influencer who has a history of dating rappers and he is a critically acclaimed actor who can count Hugh Grant as a friend.
While she’s made a name for herself for starting mainstream fashion trends, he’s always been the kind of guy that goes for more indie look … but perhaps his style is rubbing off on her.
