1 year oldKris Jenner’s latest social media post has caused a stir, with the Kardashian ‘momager’ being called out for her “ridiculous” editing.
The US reality star, 67, featured on the Instagram account of make-up artist Samer Khouzami, who shared a video of Jenner following her glam session.
It showed the businesswoman posing and smiling for the camera, and it was immediately clear to fans the video had been heavily-edited, with the grandmother-of-12 flaunting sparkling eyes and blurry, porcelain skin.
“Is this AI,” one user quipped. “Please post an unfiltered photo so we can see her true beauty,” another implored.
A third wrote, “What the hell is happening.”
Another added, “Embrace your age. This filter is ridiculous.”
The Kardashian family are certainly no strangers to editing and Photoshopcontroversies.
In March this year, Khloe Kardashian, 39, deleted a series of photos after her followers pointed out how her leg was warped.
And in October last year, photos she posted of herself wearing a black pantsuit were roasted, with the reality star sporting a perky bum and ridiculously thin waist.
She took to Twitter to claim she “never even posted this photo”.
“Maybe my glam did but I didn’t. Also I mean … The bent lines in the back lol please,” she added.
Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian, 42, was recently accused of editing her neck to make her trapezius muscle appear smaller.
An eagle-eyed TikTok user noticed that The Kardashians star appeared to remove her trapezius muscle around her neck and shoulders in a photo promoting her new collaboration with Beats by Dre.
“Kim K is notorious for Photoshopping out her traps,” the user, Caroline, began in the video. “Why? I don’t know, maybe it makes her neck look smaller?”
To reveal the apparent edit job, Caroline reverse-Photoshopped the image to highlight the reduction in Kardashian’s muscles as well as the distortion in the pool water that appeared behind her.
But perhaps the most famous of fails was when Kim openly admitted last year to editing Khloe’s young daughter, True, onto the body of Kylie Jenner’s daughter, Stormi, in a photo from a trip to Disneyland.
“The original [Disneyland] pics were Stormi!” Kim explained. “However I asked @kyliejenner if I could post them and she said she wasn’t really feeling posting at the moment and so I respect that!
“But it wasn’t going to mess up my IG feed. Chi was wearing pink and it matched perfectly.”
