4 year oldWWE star Nikki Bella has lifted the lid on why she and John Cena broke off their engagement after nearly six years together, revealing it came down to their differences over having children.
Appearing on Maria Menounos' show Better Together, Bella, 36, said she ultimately called it quits because she didn't want Cena, 43, to “regret” having children with her.
While Cena was firmly against having children throughout their relationship, he had eventually agreed to have his vasectomy reversed and the two had planned their wedding, but cancelled it at short notice.

“Overall, we did have such an incredible relationship, it was just two people that wanted two different lives,” Bella, who stars in US reality show Total Bellas on Foxtel with WWE wrestling twin sister Brie said on the podcast.
“We were trying so hard to make it one.”
The couple dated for nearly six years, and were engaged in 2017.
In April 2018, the couple called off the engagement and cancelled their wedding, which was scheduled to happen a month later.
“Even in the end when he was willing to give me kids, I could just tell, it’s not what we wanted. And that’s really, like, you know, what pushed me in the end, was like, if I’m going to force someone to be a father … what if he looks at you down the road and just regrets everything, and then you have this child and you’ve built this life,” she said.
“Is that what you want? And I remember thinking: it’s not what I want.”
Bella is now expecting her first child with fiance Artem Chigvintsev, who she met on Dancing With The Stars US.
In a twist sister Brie Bella once said people “think is a joke”, Nikki is pregnant at the same time as her twin, and they are just two weeks apart.
Speaking to People, Brie said: “Wait, twins being pregnant at the same time?
“People are going to think that’s a joke. We both are shocked. People are going to think we planned it, but you can’t really plan pregnancy!”
Speaking on their reality show, Nikki said a nagging feeling encouraged her to take a pregnancy test: “I was in yoga, and I kept getting this feeling that you need to take a pregnancy test, but I wasn’t even late yet.
“And so I’m like, ‘Why do I keep having this feeling? Am I getting twin vibes from her? Because she just told me she’s pregnant?’”
Since announcing their WWE retirements in March last year, the pair continue to star in Total Bellas and have their own wine label.
