Orlando Bloom shares workout snaps from intense North Queensland gym workout

Orlando Bloom clearly never misses a workout.

The Pirates of the Caribbean actor, 45, flaunted his rippling muscles in a workout video shared to Instagram on Monday, in which he’s seen lifting weights in a Far North Queensland gym.

The actor paired footage of his intense workout with the caption, “I broke my back when I was 19 and they said I’d never walk again.”

Bloom has just begun filming Wizards! in Far North Queensland, where he’s been training regularly at a specialist gym in Port Douglas.

According to the Courier Mail, Hollywood star has been repeatedly spotted at the gym since touching down earlier this month with fiancee Katy Perry and their daughter Daisy Dove, one.

Earlier this week, it emerged that Perry had “argued” with a waitress at a Queensland cafe because she didn’t have a table free for the star – but later tipped her for treating her like a regular customer.

Barista Indianna Paull said the Firework singer, 37, turned up at the cafe she works at in Port Douglas on Saturday.

But Paull didn’t recognise the A-lister at first because she was wearing a hat and sunglasses, and told her that they did not have any tables available.

She said Perry later thanked her and gave her a sizeable tip for treating her like an “everyday person”.
 

Perry has accompanied Bloom while he films his upcoming project, which also stars Pete Davidson.

Davidson, who also arrived in the region earlier this month, made headlines when it was reported he and girlfriend Kim Kardashian had been spotted in a local cafe, only for the sighting to be revealed as a hoax shortly after.

Botanica Cafe Bar Kitchen manager Matt Black told the ABC that the mega-famous couple had dined in their cafe, requesting a private room and demanding they turn in their phones to preserve their privacy.

“They sent their security detail in, and they had a little look at the menu, then asked if we had room for a couple of private guests, who are hoping to take over the inside,” he said.

“Sure enough, in walked bloody Kimmy K and Pete Davidson.”

Mr Black claimed his barista was unaware of who the celebrity couple were but described them as “super cool and respectful”.

While Davidson is indeed in Queensland to film the upcoming comedy with Bloom, as it transpired, his very famous girlfriend has not made the jaunt down under.
