1 year oldA heavily-pregnant Kourtney Kardashian was rushed to hospital at the weekend, it’s been revealed.
The US reality star, 44, was thought to be going into labour after her drummer husband Travis Barker, 47, abandoned his Europe tour at the last minute.
Blink-182 was set to kick off their international tour in Glasgow on September 2, but Barker fled home to Los Angeles due to an “urgent family matter”, the band’s Twitterpage announced on Saturday.
As a result, Blink-182 postponed their Belfast and Dublin shows on September 4 and 5, respectively.
People magazine now reports Kardashian had a “brief” stay in hospital, and was now resting at home.
“She is feeling better,” the magazine’s insider said. “She is happy to have Travis back home too.”
Just hours before the family emergency news hit headlines, Barker had posted photos to social media from the Glasgow Airport prayer room, which showed a sign that read, “Together we pray.”
The A-list couple, who were married in Portofino, Italy, in May 2022, announced they were expecting their first child together in June.
They’d previously been open about their struggles to conceive, having started fertility treatments in 2021.
During season two of The Kardashians – which was filmed early in 2022 – Kardashian explained how physically draining IVF [in vitro fertilisation] had been for her.
“My health is still impacted because it’s hormones, and mentally it definitely took a toll … I think being happy is what’s important and being a good parent to my kids. We’re just embracing that whatever is meant to be, will be,” she said at the time.
She added, after over a year, the couple had decided to stop the process.
“We are officially done with IVF,” she continued. “We would love a baby more than anything, but I just really believe in what God has in store for us. If that’s a baby, then I believe that it will happen.”
And then came their joyous news in June, when Kardashian announced she was pregnant during Barker’s concert with Blink-182 in Los Angeles, holding up a sign that read, “Travis I’m pregnant,” as he performed onstage.
Kardashian, who is the eldest sibling of the famous family, is already a mother-of-three, and shares Mason, 13, Penelope, 11, and Reign, 8, with her ex-boyfriend, Scott Disick.
Barker has two children with ex-wife Shanna Moakler, Landon, 19, and Alabama, 17. He also raised Moakler’s daughter from another relationship, Atiana De La Hoya, 24.
Kardashian and Barker began dating in 2021, having known each other for several years.
