6 year oldAfter some heated speculation, Kendra Wilkinson confirmed her split from husband Hank Baskett in a teary Instagram story on Monday.
“Ten years, I did everything I could — it wasn’t good enough,” a visibly shaken Wilkinson recounted on social media, before adding, “I will always love him.”
Saying she had “believed in forever” and that “I never thought I’d see the day,” the former “Girls Next Door” star went on to say, “I guess it’s just not meant to be. I’m so scared. But I have to get strong for my kids. I will.”
She also shared a photo from the couple’s wedding day, captioned with the words, “I believed.”
Sparking speculation that she might be filing for divorce, Wilkinson then posted a picture of an empty conference room with the caption “Here we go,” as well as a snapshot of her clothing laying on a chair, captioned “Picking the outfit was hard. Shaking the whole time.”
A rep for Wilkinson had no comment on Monday.
Wilkinson, 32, and Baskett, 35, wed in 2009. They share two children.
Their marriage was rocked by scandal while Wilkinson was pregnant with the pair’s second child, with allegations that Baskett cheated on her with a transgender model.
