6 year oldAFTER two-and-a-half years of off-again, on-again dating, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom just took a big step as a couple.
ON-AGAIN, off-again couple Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom just made a big public step in their relationship, walking a red carpet together for the very first time.
The couple have dated on and off since 2016 and appear to have formed a more solid relationship this year, frequently appearing on each other’s social media.
While they’ve shared little insights into their relationship with fans, this event — the second Monte-Carlo Gala for the Global Ocean, held in Monaco — marks the first time the pair have fronted up to a red carpet, posing for pictures together.
Singer Perry, 33 and actor Bloom, 41 stopped short of holding hands as they posed for the wall of photographers.
The pair were first photographed together back in January of 2016, when they were snapped getting very flirty on the dance floor at a Golden Globes afterparty.
It was seven months later, in August 2016, that those pictures made headlines worldwide: Bloom and Perry on a secluded getaway on an Italian beach, Bloom entirely without clothing.
By March 2017, an official statement from their representatives announced the pair were no longer dating — “Before rumours or falsifications get out of hand, we can confirm that Orlando and Katy are taking respectful, loving space at this time,” it stated.
But by August last year, they were spotted together again — and it’s been back on ever since, the Teenage Dream singer even declaring she was “spoken for” during an interview earlier this year.
