4 year oldKanye West’s recent Twitter rampage has raised alarm bells for the state of his mental health, with the rapper and presidential candidate claiming he’s “holed up” on his Wyoming ranch while his wife and mother-in-law attempt to have him hospitalised.
New photos show scores of vehicles at the property, which appears to be under construction and includes an intriguing clear domelike structure.
The rapper, 43, is claiming he needs “protection” from his wife and mother-in-law, Kris Jenner, and is hiding out in a “secure bunker” on the $21 million Wyoming property.
According to The Sun, he’s surrounded by “a small group of people he trusts” — with Kim presumably at home in LA.

On two separate occasions this week, the Stronger rapper released a wave of tweets claiming Kim Kardashian West and Kris Jenner have attempted to send doctors to Cody, in northwest Wyoming to “lock him up”.
It all kicked off on Tuesday following a presidential rally during which he broke down while telling the crowd he and Kim contemplating aborting their eldest daughter.
Among the first posts, he likened his situation to the film Get Out, and on Wednesday he referred to his mother-in-law as a “white supremacist”, later calling her “Kris Jong-Un”.
In another series of tweets, he wrote “come get me” directly addressing Kris to tell him where he was.

According to The Sun, Kanye’s bombshell detail about his and Kim’s daughter reportedly left Kardashian West “furious” and feeling “betrayed”, with the rapper presumably travelling to Wyoming for space.
“Originally Kim was happy that Kanye chose to go to Wyoming as he’s always calmer when he’s there. Now she’s regretting it,” a source told the publication.
Both outbursts this were short lived with the tweets quickly deleted, but it’s left fans wondering what the star’s current situation is at the sprawling slab of real estate he owns separately from his and Kim’s LA mansion.
The property has formally been renamed West Lake Ranch, but West also refers to it as “Yeezy campus,” referencing his fashion brand.
The couple — who are reportedly on the edge of filing for divorce — have split their time between their two properties with their four kids in the past.
According to The Sun, the lakeside ranch encompasses more than 485 hectares, and is home to plenty of wildlife with two lakes full of fish, wild antelope, mule deer and elk, plus 160 cows and around 700 sheep.
West reportedly intends to use the sheep’s wool to create some of his Yeezy clothing.
The rapper bought it for $21 million in September according to People.
Earlier this month, it was revealed he is planning to build a 52,000 sq ft mansion at the property, with TMZ reporting he has the green light to construct a 10 bedroom pad.
Kanye’s building and zone permits filed in Cody, Wyoming, were approved over the last few months, the publication reported.
The ranch, which spans grassy plains with a backdrop of dramatic mountain scenery, currently includes a restaurant and saloon, a ranch-style event venue, a maintenance shop, an office building, as well as horse barns, sheds and a state-of-the-art shooting range.
New pics of the ranch show fleets of vehicles and workmen, a teepee and a clear domelike structure. There are scores of vehicles and motor homes around the various buildings. Meteor-like craters have been dug out and an earth wall is being constructed by the main road adjacent to the huge property.
Kanye is reportedly constructing two new lake houses on top of the existing ones, according to the plans.
The All Of The Lights rapper will need a new septic system for all of the plans and must get wastewater permits before renovation begins, the documents stated last month.
He’s also been given permission to build two 10,000 sq ft underground garages.
The couple have been splitting their time between the Wyoming digs and their bizarrely empty LA mansion, which was bought for $28 million and is now worth $83 million, according to reports.
The Sun revealed back in February that Kanye is keen to give the bolthole a makeover in a similar style to his minimalist LA home.
He’s also previously revealed to Forbes that he plans to design and build property inspired by the Star Wars films through the architecture arm of Kanye’s Yeezy label, Yeezy Home, which was launched in 2018.
“Kanye wants to makeover the ranch in the same style as his LA home – so it’ll be really sleek and minimal but with a nod to the Wild West.
“He’s flying out there all the time, by private jet, and it’s going to cost a fortune.
“Money is no object. It‘ll be twice as expensive as the LA home as everything will have to be shipped in.”
He has already installed a music studio above the “eating cabin,” and has brought a fleet of vehicles to the property, including Ford F-150 Raptor pick-up trucks, ATVs, UTVs and his “tank,” all painted in matching matte black.
On Twitter Thursday, Kanye was back to regularly scheduled content, posting photos of friends hanging out in a garage on the property.
The post comes after his wife took to Instagram to respond to the latest drama surrounding her relationship with West.
Kim defended Kanye and made mention of his mental health, noting bipolar disorder.
“Any one who has this or has a loved one in their life who does, knows how incredibly complicated and painful it is to understand,” she wrote.
“I’ve never spoken publicly about how this has affected us at home because I am very protective of our children and Kanye’s right to privacy when it comes to his health.”
But Kardashian West noted she felt compelled to speak “today” because “of the stigma and misconceptions of mental health”.
“Those that understand mental illness or compulsive behaviour know that the family is powerless unless the member is a minor. People who are unaware or far removed from this experience can be judgmental and not understand that the individual themselves have to engage in the process of getting help no matter how hard the family try,” she wrote.
In Kanye’s tweets on Wednesday, he mentioned rappers Meek Mill and Drake, who have been at the centre of unsubstantiated Kim Kardashian West cheating rumours over the years.
He also made claims about Michael Jackson’s death and in another message written in capital letters, he asserted his daughter North would “never be exploited by the system of white supremacy”.

A day earlier, Kanye tweeted, then deleted, a number of claims that his family “tried to lock him up” following a presidential campaign rally in South Carolina in which he cried while saying that he and Kim had once contemplated aborting their daughter North West, 7.
In separate tweets, Kanye also compared his life to the movie Get Out — a movie about an African-American man who is brought to his white girlfriend’s family home and uncovers a series of disturbing details about them — and called out Jenner for her handling of his wife’s sex tape and Playboy shoot.
In a tweet unrelated to his wife and family, he wrote “NBC locked up Bill Cosby”, seemingly in support of the convicted sex offender.
West, who announced earlier this month that he was running for president, deleted almost all of the tweets — leaving up one promoting his upcoming album, DONDA, tweeting “Ima focus on the music now”.
The new release is set to drop Friday, Australian time.
