Kanye West ‘could be home with Kim Kardashian by Monday’ as he begins recovery from psychotic break

The Life of Pablo rapper has been in hospital since Monday after his personal physician called 911 to report that the star was suffering from a mental breakdown caused from depression and dehydration after a difficult year, reports The Sun.

Gossip site TMZ is now reporting that Kanye has been “dealing with issues for a long time” and is ‘profoundly depressed and paranoid’ as he recovers at UCLA Medical Centre.

However, the 39-year-old is now said to be on the mend, and wife Kim, who rushed to be by his side following his admission into hospital, is hopeful that he will return to their family home as soon as Monday.

She has made sure to spend hours at a time with her husband as he begins to get back to a more normal mental state.

The only time the reality star has left his side this week was to attend Thanksgiving dinner at sister Kylie Jenner’s house.

If he is allowed out of hospital, it is thought his personal doctor will be supervising his recovery away from the limelight.

The Kimye insider said: “[Kanye] is starting to feel more like himself, and that he understands the importance of ‘resting and getting help.’

“They are taking it day by day. He understands that getting help at the hospital was necessary.”
