Justin Bieber cries during interview while talking about ‘protecting’ Billie Eilish

“Let her do her thing and if she ever needs me, I’m gonna be here for her,” Bieber said to Beats 1’s Zane Lowe. “But yeah, just protecting the moment because people take for granted encounters."

“Yeah, so, yeah, I just want to protect her,” he said through tears. “I don’t want her to lose it. I don’t want her to go through anything I went through. I don’t wish that upon anybody. If she ever needs me I’m just a call away.”

In recent social media posts and interviews, Bieber, 25, has opened up about his previous battles with addiction that were fueled by becoming famous at a young age.

Eilish acknowledged the support from Bieber. The “Bad Guy” singer posted a clip of the singer’s interview on Instagram along with several photos of her wearing a Bieber t-shirt and various Bieber memorabilia she had in her bedroom.

The Instagram post was captioned “stream changes,” a referenced to Bieber’s new album “Changes” which was released on Valentine’s Day.

Bieber commented on the post “Love you !!!” Hailey Baldwin, Bieber’s wife, added a heart emoji.
