8 year oldLos Angeles Times reports Tyga was supposed to be questioned under oath after he failed to pay more than $US480,000 ($628,000) to his former landlord over damages to a Malibu rental.
Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Nancy L Newman signed off on an arrest warrant and set bail at $US10,000 after Tuesday’s no-show.
The news comes days after the 26-year-old splashed out $US200,000 on a luxury Mercedes Maybach for his girlfriend Kylie Jenner’s 19th birthday.
The lawsuit goes back to 2011 when the Rack City rapper missed a $US16,000 monthly payment before breaking his lease early on a Malibu rental property that overlooked the Pacific Ocean, court papers allege.
The landlord’s lawyer, Boris Treyzon, said Tyga “trashed” the mansion, installing a stripper pole in the master bedroom and disconnecting the intercom.
“He leased a house that he wanted to use as his primary residence, then he completely trashed it,” Treyzon said.
In March, the judge approved a default judgment totalling $US480,285, which covers compensation for the vandalism, unpaid rent, legal fees and interest.
But the landlord’s lawyers say Tyga — real name Michael Ray Stevens — still hasn’t paid up.
TMZ reports Tyga recently rented a mansion for $US46,000 a month.
Tyga has a three-year-old son named King with his ex, Blac Chyna, a former stripper who is now expecting a child with Robert Kardashian.
A publicist for Tyga did not respond to a request for comment.
