The Golden Globes red carpet is done and dusted, with one particular look that surprised many ahead of the ceremony.

The 83rd Golden Globes have finally arrived and so too have all of the guests, as stars start to make their way from the red carpet to the ceremony venue for the awards celebrating the best in film and television from the past year.
The ceremony itself will be hosted by comedian Nikki Glaser for the second year running, and streams locally from midday AEDT on Paramount+ - we’ll be live blogging all the highlights from the ceremony here.

Celebrating the Globes early
Prior to hitting the Globes red carpet, some big names showed up for Variety’s annual pre-Globes bash and W magazine’s event over the weekend - and they all received the “black and boobs” memo.
Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another leads the pack for the film section of today’s awards with nine nominations, including Best Picture, Director and Screenwriter, Best Actor recognition for its lead Leonardo DiCaprio and Supporting Actor nods for Benicio Del Toro and Sean Penn.
Sentimental Value is in second with eight nominations and then Sinners with seven.
Over on the TV side, The White Lotus is ahead of the pack with six nominations, followed by Netflix’s Adolescence with five and Severance and Only Murders in the Building with four each.
