It comes as a “#FREEBRITNEY” hashtag trends on social media following allegations the singer is being held against her will in a mental health facility.
The allegations surfaced via an anonymous inside source who went public on the popular podcast Britney’s Gram.

She’s honestly dropped so many hints throughout the years. Even just last year on the Piece Of Me Tour, she said to the crowd “What do you do when someone tells you not to do something? You DO IT!” She’s wanted us to know for a while now. #FreeBritney pic.twitter.com/sHVyMiFInA

In all seriousness, it doesn’t matter if you believe the latest news about our girl. For years, it’s been extremely clear that something’s not right in her world.

Posting on Instagram, her mum Lynne shared an image of a woman on her knees with the message: “When God’s warriors go down on their knees the battle is not over; it has just begun.”
She captioned it: “This is ‘faith’.”
Lynne, who split from Britney’s dad in 2008, then went on to “like” a number of comments that followed.
One message she “liked” read: “I really hope you are supporting Britney in trying to end this conservatorship.
“I really hope your ailing ex husband isn’t keeping your daughter somewhere against her will.”

Another added: “I hope she’s doing OK & can finally be able to [be] free she deserves it!! We know.”
Dad Jamie became Britney’s conservator — a judge-appointed guardian who manages the financial affairs of another — after her public breakdown in 2008.
The performer is thought to be staying at the mental health facility for 30 days.
The last time Britney spoke to fans was when she posted a picture on Instagram that read: “Fall in love with taking care of yourself, mind, body, spirit.”
Announcing she was cancelling her second Vegas residency, Britney wrote to her fans: “I don’t even know where to start with this, because this is so tough for me to say.
“I will not be performing my new show Domination. I’ve been looking forward to this show and seeing all of you this year, so doing this breaks my heart.
“However, it’s important to always put your family first … and that’s the decision I had to make.
“A couple of months ago, my father was hospitalised and almost died. We’re all so grateful that he came out of it alive, but he still has a long road ahead of him.”
