JOHNNY Depp has been spotted looking tired and pale as he landed in Germany after sparking concern with pictures from his band’s tour.

The Hollywood actor has been seen for the first time since snaps of him in Russia shocked fans.

The Edward Scissorhands star looked pale and tired, but managed to smile and chat with the group who stood outside waiting to meet him.

He hid his eyes behind dark sunglasses and wore a black baseball cap as he headed inside the building.

Reports surfaced earlier this month of a ‘drunk’ Depp allegedly attacking a crew member on the set of his upcoming film LAbyrinth.

Johnny looked dramatically different from his Hollywood heart-throb persona that won him millions of fans.

Depp twice received the coveted title of People Magazine’s ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ - in both 2003 and 2009.

Previous pictures of the actor on tour in Russia with the band sparked concern among fans, with some fearing the actor might be ill.

Several fans commented on the snap, which were shared by an Instagram account dedicated to the actor.

They commented on Johnny’s pale and gaunt appearance, with one writing: “He looks pale here. Hope he’s okay.”

The new look however may be a result of some hardcore method acting, Empirereported last year Depp was to star in Richard Says Goodbye- a film about a “world-weary college professor given a life changing diagnosis. He embraces every vice going, drink drugs, smoking, sex and throwing insults at anyone who annoys him.”

The photos also end a stressful time for the star over the past couple of months - as he’s battled a series of legal problems – including being sued by his bodyguards - as well as reports of an on-set meltdown.
