6 year oldFORMER First Lady Michelle Obama has sizzled in a bikini while holidaying in Miami. Michelle and her eldest daughter Malia, 19, were spotted walking with friends on the beach, with their entourage including the Obama administration’s former senior adviser Valerie Jarrett and Secret Service agents.
Michelle, 53, showed off her abs in a white bikini top, teamed with a sheer white shirt and high-waisted shorts with ripped details, a pair of gold hoop earrings and black sunglasses.
InStyle called Michelle - who has spoken about how she stayes in shape through regular exercise - “ageless” in the Daisy Duke-inspired look.
“When I was at the White House, I often hosted bootcamp weekends for my close girlfriends,” Michelle previously wrote on Instagram.
“It didn’t matter that we were all at varying fitness levels. Our bootcamp weekends were a reminder that if we want to keep taking care of others, we need to take care of ourselves first.
“And even though I’m no longer at the White House, I’ve continued this tradition.”
Harvard student Malia wore a pair of black bikini bottoms with a tan-coloured hoody over the top and circle-shaped sunnies, as she clutched a thick textbook and her mobile phone.
There was no sign of Michelle’s husband, former President Barack Obama, or the couple’s younger daughter, Sasha, 16.
Last month, the former first family celebrated Christmas in Hawaii.
Michelle famously used her White House wardrobe as a way of promoting young American designers, and as did former First Ladies Laura Bush and Hillary Clinton, stuck closely to American fashion brands.
Her favourite couture labels included Givenchy, Versace, Jason Wu, Prabal Gurung, Tanya Taylor and Thom Browne.
Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci told Vogue dressing Michelle was “like a dream woman, whose elegance and kind soul make her otherworldly”.
Michelle’s signature look was styles that showed off her famously toned arms ... and now it seems, she is moving on to beach chic.
