This article is more than
8 year oldThese pop-culture icons took their skills f-rom strip clubs and used them to make bank, now boasting wedding rings, fashion lines, wealthy husbands and reality TV shows.
But their beginnings were humble — and naked:
BLAC CHYNA
Blac Chyna, whose real name is Angela Renée White, once went by the stage name “Crème” and modelled for publications like Dimepiece Magazine and Urban Ink Magazine. While working as a stripper at King of Diamonds in Miami, Chyna landed the lead role in then-fiance Tyga’s music video Rack City. Today she’s the newest member of the Kardashian clan. And in May she announced that she’s expecting a baby with current fiance Rob Kardashian — the couple’s first. There are even whispers that Blac Chyna might soon get her very own reality show.
AMBER ROSE
Born Amber Levonchuck, the Philly native started stripping at the age of 15 under the name “Paris” in order to financially help out her family. At 19, she went on to work the pole at Sue’s Rendezvous in Mt. Vernon, NY, and got herself a gig as a video vixen in rapper Ludacris’ What Them Girls Like. In August 2015 — after failed relationships with hip-hop stars Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa — Rose, 32, launched her own line of sunglasses, hoodies, beanies and T-shirts, and wrote a book titled How to Be a Bad Bitch. Now, with a late-night talk show set to debut this summer on VH1 and a hot relationship with 25-year-old Toronto Raptors shooting guard Terrence Ross, Amber Rose will never have to dance for dollars ever again.
NENE LEAKES

Years earlier, while attending college, Leakes, then a single mum, d-ropped out of school to become a stripper in order to make ends meet. In 1996, she married real estate investor Gregg Leakes. Leakes, 48, went on to start her own production company called NeNe Leakes Entertainment in 2013, and then launched a fashion line, the NeNe Leakes Collection, on the Home Shopping Network. She has a growing resumé of television appearances on shows like The Celebrity Apprentice,The New Normal, Glee and Dancing With the Stars, as well as a stint on Broadway inRodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella. Now, Leakes can be seen on E!’s Fashion Police.

A classically trained ballet dancer, she earned her reputation performing burlesque in California, whe-re she caught the eye of rocker Marilyn Manson, whom she later married. EVE
Grammy winner Eve first hit the rap scene in 1999 with Let There Be Eve ... Ruff Ryders’ First Lady. But before she became the first lady of Ruff Ryders, Eve was an 18-year-old stripper.
