A Playboy spokesman confirmed to the WSJ that the mansion is in contract.

Daren Metropoulos, the reported buyer, lives directly next door and is a principal at private-equity firm Metropoulos & Co. He bought his current house f-rom Hugh Hefner for $18 million back in 2009.
“The heritage of this property transcends its celebrity and to have the opportunity to serve as its steward would be a true privilege,” Metropoulos told the WSJ.
According to the terms of the sale, Hefner can live in the mansion for the rest of his life. Metropoulos reportedly plans to combine to two properties once Hefner is no longer a resident.
