The actress, 39, debuted the first signs of a baby bump while walking the red carpet at the United Way of Greater Los Angeles Women’s Summit on Monday, April 25.
Almost exactly two years earlier, on April 21, 2014, Washington and her former NFL cornerback hubby, 34, welcomed their first child, daughter Isabelle Amarachi Asomugha, now 2. The couple tied the knot in a secret wedding ceremony in Hailey, Idaho, back in June 2013.

In a cover story interview for the April 2016 issue of Elle, the Emmy-nominated beauty opened up about how playing Olivia Pope on her hit series Scandal prepped her for motherhood.
“Even though Olivia Pope has obviously made the decision that she is not a mom,” Washington said, referencing Pope’s choice to get an abortion, “playing her made me feel like I could be a mom. Because she knows there’s always another way—there’s always a way to fix it, there’s always a way to solve it, to win.”
She added to the fashion magazine: “I feel like playing her made me feel like, ‘All right, I can do it. I will figure out how to juggle it all.’”
