Donald Trump has called for a boycott of Bombardier, the Canadian business jet manufacturer, as Ottawa imposed C$27bn (US$20bn) in retaliatory tariffs on US goods in the intensifying trade war between the countries.

In a lengthy Truth Social post on Monday, Trump said there should be “NO MORE SELLING BOMBARDIER IN THE UNITED STATES! Their products aren’t good enough!”
